Dear Terry,

I have been thinking of you a lot these past few months. You passed our SS Horror Story on to 60 Minutes and since then we have been in constant contact with them. On August 4th they filmed us with Anderson Cooper and they hope to air it soon.  As of this Wednesday we received a call from Social Security that they have reviewed our case and they wiped out the $50,000 we owe. Our balance is now Zero. None of that would have been possible had it not been for You and 60 Minutes. I feel for the 1.2 million people who continue to have these crazy overpayments. The system is definitely flawed. Despite all of our appeals, reconsiderations, waivers, etc, nothing worked for us but the Media involvement.
